Disconnect your WhatsApp Business app number from Sonar
Connected the number on your phone and want to stop using it in Sonar? It takes two steps: remove it in Sonar, then disconnect it in the WhatsApp Business app. You keep the app, the number and your chats on your phone.
1. Remove it in Sonar
- In Sonar, go to WhatsApp numbers.
- On the number, press Remove. Only the account owner sees this button.
- Sonar stops sending and receiving on the number, and its place on your plan is free again. Its chats come back if you connect it again.
Something still sends from the number, such as a broadcast or a flow? Sonar lists each one, so you can sort them out first.
2. Disconnect it in the WhatsApp Business app
- On the phone with the number, open the WhatsApp Business app.
- Go to Settings > Account > Business Platform.
- Press Disconnect Account and confirm.
Changed your mind later? Connect it again in Sonar under Add a number > Your WhatsApp Business app number. See Use Sonar with the WhatsApp Business app.
Leaving Sonar altogether
Removing a number doesn't change your plan. To stop paying, the account owner goes to Plan & billing and presses Cancel plan. Your plan keeps working until the end of the month you've paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan.
